Defeat Anime RNG Beginner Guide
The early game is built around a repeating loop: roll units, equip the strongest team, defeat enemies, merge duplicates, and reinvest your earnings into better progression. Save rare materials for units that can remain useful in both zone clearing and Boss battles.
Roll Your First Units
Use your starting rolls to collect several Anime Units and compare their rarity, damage potential, and useful traits before spending premium resources.
Equip Your Strongest Lineup
Open your unit collection and equip the highest-performing units available. Prioritize a balanced lineup with dependable damage and at least one unit suited to sustained fights.
Fight Enemies and Bosses
Send your lineup into regular enemy waves to earn Coins and experience, then challenge available Anime Bosses when your team can survive their damage and health thresholds.
Merge and Upgrade Useful Units
Merge duplicate units to increase their level and combat power. Focus materials on units that consistently contribute to wave clearing or Boss damage.
Unlock New Areas
Save Coins from waves and Boss battles until you can unlock the next zone. Death Castle requires 450,000 Coins and also provides access to the in-game code redemption area.
Repeat the Progression Loop
Continue rolling, equipping, battling, merging, and unlocking zones. Add Luck, XP, and Gold Potions during focused farming sessions to accelerate the next power milestone.
Defeat Anime RNG Tier List
This tier framework evaluates units by their overall usefulness across zone progression, Boss battles, endless waves, and early-game growth. A unit's final value depends on its rarity, level, traits, mutation, and the rest of the lineup.
S Tier
Core carry units
High-impact damage dealers or exceptionally versatile units that remain valuable across multiple zones, Boss encounters, and endless waves.
How to get: Usually high-rarity rolls, limited mutations, or exceptional trait combinations.
Investment: Strongly worth investing in with merges, XP, and favorable Traits.
A Tier
Reliable main-team units
Consistent units with strong damage or utility that can carry early and mid progression even if they are less flexible than S Tier options.
How to get: Often available through regular high-rarity rolls or obtainable event and update rewards.
Investment: Worth investing in when they are among your best available units.
B Tier
Useful progression units
Solid units that help clear early zones and waves but may fall behind when enemy health and Boss requirements increase.
How to get: Commonly obtained from lower or mid-rarity rolls and duplicate merges.
Investment: Invest moderately and replace them when a stronger specialized unit is available.
C Tier
Temporary or niche units
Starter units, low-impact damage dealers, or highly situational options that are useful mainly before stronger rolls become available.
How to get: Usually easy to obtain from basic rolls or early progression.
Investment: Avoid expensive Traits, Mutations, or large merge investments unless required for a specific objective.

Defeat Anime RNG Luck and Rolling Guide
Rolling is one of the main progression systems in Defeat Anime RNG. A stronger roster comes from combining repeated rolls with Luck bonuses, unit upgrades, and sensible resource management instead of spending every available roll immediately.
Defeat Anime RNG Bosses and Waves
Boss and wave progression tests more than unit rarity. Your equipped lineup, upgrades, unit placement, and ability to keep improving damage between attempts determine how far you can advance.
Use early waves to judge whether your current lineup defeats enemies comfortably. If enemies begin surviving much longer, upgrade your strongest useful units before pushing deeper.
Before challenging a difficult boss, equip your strongest developed units instead of filling the lineup only with newly rolled rarities. A properly upgraded team is more reliable than an unfinished high-rarity roster.
Invest first in units already making the largest contribution to your clears. Concentrating resources on proven damage dealers usually produces a more noticeable progression increase than spreading upgrades evenly across unused units.
Lineup Balance
Use every available lineup slot effectively and replace noticeably weaker units as better rolls become available. Recheck the full team after merging or upgrading units.
Place and organize your active units so they can contribute consistently during each wave. When changing the roster, retest positioning rather than assuming a stronger unit automatically fixes a stalled run.
If a boss repeatedly stops progression, return to rolling, merging, and upgrading rather than repeating the same attempt unchanged. A small roster improvement can be enough to pass the next damage requirement.
Treat the first wave where your clear speed drops sharply as a progression checkpoint. Farm resources below that point, strengthen the lineup, and then attempt the difficult section again.
For longer endless runs, prioritize consistent total team strength over a single lucky unit. Continue improving the weakest active roster slots because every additional wave raises the value of sustained damage.
Defeat Anime RNG Zones and Unlocks
Zones are tied to overall progression in Defeat Anime RNG. Advancing into later areas introduces stronger enemies and creates new reasons to improve your units, while players who are underpowered can remain in their current area to roll, merge, and upgrade before continuing.
| Zone | Unlock | Enemy Strength | Unit Progression | Recommended Power | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starting Area | Available at the beginning of progression | Entry-level | Build the first usable lineup from early rolls and duplicates | Enough team strength to clear normal enemies and the area's boss consistently | Learn rolling, equip a full lineup, merge useful duplicates, and begin upgrading core units |
| Next Progression Area | Advance after completing the required progression from the previous area | Higher than the starting area | Replace weak roster slots with stronger rolls and upgraded units | A lineup that can defeat the previous area's boss without struggling | Improve the weakest equipped units before spending heavily on unnecessary upgrades |
| Mid-Progression Areas | Continue clearing bosses and progression requirements | Increasing wave and boss difficulty | Rarer units and stronger merged or upgraded units become more valuable | Consistent clears without relying on a single underdeveloped rare unit | Balance rolling with upgrades instead of spending all resources on only one system |
| Highest Unlocked Area | Reach the furthest area currently available to your account | Highest difficulty currently accessible | Optimize the active lineup and continue searching for meaningful upgrades | Strong enough to farm the area's enemies efficiently and make progress against its boss | Farm resources, improve remaining weak slots, and prepare for later zones or updates |
Defeat Anime RNG Updates and Events
Defeat Anime RNG updates can change which units players want to roll for, where progression continues, and how resources should be spent. Check new content before using a large stockpile of rolls or committing upgrade materials.
New Unit Updates
New units expand the available rolling targets and can create new reasons to save or spend rolling resources. Review your existing lineup before replacing developed units with newly obtained characters.
New Zone Updates
Additional areas extend progression with stronger enemies and new unlock goals. Prepare by improving your active lineup and keeping enough resources available for the next difficulty increase.
Limited-Time Events
Events can provide temporary progression goals, rewards, or reasons to concentrate playtime during the event period. Prioritize rewards that directly improve rolling, upgrades, or roster progression.
Luck and Rolling Changes
Changes affecting Luck, rolling, or unit availability can alter the best time to use saved resources. Check the current in-game systems before beginning a large rolling session after an update.
Balance Adjustments
Unit or progression balance changes can affect which parts of your roster deserve upgrades. Retest previously difficult bosses and waves after major balance changes before spending additional resources.
Boss and Wave Content
New bosses or additional wave content increase the value of a well-developed full lineup. Improve multiple active units rather than depending entirely on one strong roll.
Event Rewards
Claim available event rewards before their limited period ends and use them according to your current progression bottleneck, whether that is rolling, upgrading units, or preparing for a harder area.
